The Story You Have Not Heard
Before national news, there was a boy in Fresno and Madera, a mother who taught him strength, and a young person searching for somewhere to belong. This memoir enters the struggle between protection and control, addiction and agency, mistakes and accountability. It asks you to meet the whole person—then decide for yourself.
